OFFERINGS

  • With curiosity and compassion for all parts of you, we will fine tune intentions around your relationships, daily life, and inner dialogues.

My goal is to help clients recognize ways they’ve adapted and create space between a triggering event and automatic reaction. I see adaptations as strengths, though they may no longer be needed. Together we will build new coping skills and self regulation tools.

  • Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing is a structured and highly researched type of therapy. It helps ease distress and negative beliefs about oneself. It is common to make meaning and internalize feelings around past events. EMDR helps people move through these intense emotions and bridge the gap between what you logically know and how you feel.

  • Relationships are often referred to as mirrors as they reflect back to us our own pain points and areas of potential growth. Relationships require communication, identification of needs, and the willingness to try something different when locked into a dynamic. We show up as past versions of ourselves when trying to navigate relationship issues because of historical ways we’ve learned to adapt to maintain emotional safety.

I support couples in learning how to effectively communicate and work through conflict as it inevitably arises. Together, we will navigate patterns and take a closer look at core needs for each person to create secure partnership and expansion.

SPECIALIZATIONS

  • Trauma is a reaction or response to a dysregulating event. This event can be continuous or a one time experience.

As a trauma therapist, I help clients to understand how they have been impacted on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level. Through awareness and identification we can build emotional safety, trust in oneself and others, and a consciousness for how it shows up in the body.

  • Anxiety spirals can be debilitating and affect your daily life. Many of us are accustomed to the presence of constant anxiety and stress, which leads to difficulty in rest and being present.

Together we will discover the purpose of your anxiety and appropriate ways to cope so that you can be an active participant in your life.

  • OCD is distressing, time consuming, and demanding of your attention. We will work towards building new neural pathways to break down obsessive thoughts and reinforced compulsive behaviors.

  • I believe that our sense of self and the way we feel about our body is heavily influenced from observed, direct, or unconscious messaging from our society, culture, and family systems.

I am passionate about helping others relearn their own intrinsic worthiness and differentiate that from beliefs that have been pressed upon us. Together we will plant seeds of body neutrality, self-acceptance, and compassion.

  • It is difficult to be at peace with uncertainty and the unknowns that life transitions inevitably bring. Often we fear having regrets, not making the ‘right’ decision or doing what we ‘should.’ When we experience new ways of being, we often fall back into predictable mindsets and actions that help us to feel safe, but may no longer apply to the context of your life’s chapter.

Together we will build self trust and work towards letting go, surrendering, and acceptance of what we cannot know or control.

  • Whether with family members, friends, or partners we find ourselves in relationships repeating old patterns. Maybe it’s putting other’s needs before our own to not let them down, creating narratives in our mind that haven’t happened in reality, absorbing other’s moods and emotions, or people pleasing to minimize conflict.

I help clients identify their needs, develop boundaries to protect their energy and wellbeing, and negotiate the difference between understanding and accepting what others are capable or willing to give in their lives.
